The Globe Theatre, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London - by Will

A second-rate panorama of the Globe Theatre
Today was probably best described as a walk oriented day. We left the hostel today and discovered soon off that the tube was shut down and would probably be all day. We walked from the hostel to the Globe Theatre across the Thames. We took a tour of the Globe and watched a sword fighting demonstration, which for me was one of a few high points for me.

After the Globe, we traveled back across the Thames to service at St. Paul's Cathedral. The service was very moving for me to witness in such beautiful scenery. It was nice to be in a big and well constructed area to just be there. After the service and lunch we walked down to the Tower of London. While at the Tower what I found most interesting was the crown jewels. It was just interesting to learn the history of it all and what jewels belonged to what royalty.

All in all the day was great, even walking through the city. I felt I got to know the group a bit more and understand the history of London a little bit more.
